Hi there! Nice to sort of meet you. Welcome to my graphic design portfolio website! I am thrilled to showcase my work and share my passion for design with you.

My name is Carlee but a lot of people call me Car. You can probably figure out why. I don't only resonate with cars because of my name (although that is a huge factor for obvious reasons), but because I'm the type of person who is always on the move. I always need to be doing something. What's the point of life if you're not living it like every second counts? I love adventures and exploring, such as going to new places or trying new foods. Hey, maybe that's why I was named Carlee!

So how did I get here? Well, when I was a kid I would make catastrophic messes involving paint, markers, crayons, stickers, paper - the whole shebang. In simpler terms, I loved art. It's always something I've been passionate about. So here I am, many years later, and not much has changed.

I've spent the last three years of my life studying Graphic Design at Dawson College. These last few years have been incredible. From staying many late nights in our classrooms working on projects, to all my money being spent on coffees at Tim Horton's, to all the cuts I've gotten from X-acto knives, to all the glue-gun burns, I appreciate every moment because I was surrounded by such an amazing support system. I have learned so much during my time at Dawson, and I can't wait to expand my knowledge even more.

Any type of project excites me, however I have a particularly strong interest in print projects, as I love hands-on work. Seeing my designs come to life in physical form is incredibly rewarding to me. I am also very interested in copywriting, which I believe is a major part of graphic design. I enjoy giving all my work a narrative with a specific tone of voice.
